Basta um som, uma vocalização distintiva, para imediatamente sabermos o que se aproxima. Uma das visões mais belas dos nossos cursos de água: um rápido e brilhante raio azul que termina com uma explosão de laranja quando ele poisa, vigilante, no topo de um qualquer poleiro à beira d'água. Um mergulho repentino, o surgir momentos depois com uma presa no bico e um pequeno voo até ao local do repasto completam o ritual e deixam-nos com um sorriso de satisfação na cara...

Just a sound, a distinctive vocalization, and we immediately know who is coming.
